Involvement
The I-guild has a number of committees, initiatives and groups that you will get to visit properly in during Nollningen 2024. They are created and run entirely by the students, and are an important part of the wonderful community we have at the guild. Every semester the committees recruit new members. Take the opportunity to get to know them during the autumn - they are all very curious to meet you! Here follows a presentation of different forms of involvement in the section.
Don't worry if it's a lot to take in now, you'll be spending a lot of time with them this fall.

THE AMUSEMENT COMMITTEE
Hello everyone! A warm welcome to the I-family!
My name is Hanna Widlund and I am the chairman of The Amusement Committee at the I-Guild – the most fun-filled committee! We happily organize many fun events for the members of the section, which can be anything between heaven and earth. Examples of events we've had in the past are dinner roulettes, pimp your bike hang, movie nights and bike parties with other sections. In addition, we cooperate a lot with the sports committee. Ivent Nöje and Ivent sport together make up the section's activity committee, IVENT! Together we have a lot of fun!
Are you eager to drive ideas into reality, organize fun-filled events for the section and become part of Ivent's wonderful family? Do not hesitate to apply! We are very much looking forward to welcoming new lovely members to this community!
Many hugs,
Hanna Widlund

INTERNATIONAL COMMITTEE
Welcome to Inuti, the committee that takes you to new and exciting places!.
First of all, every year we arrange Destination X, our signature activity. Destination X is a secret destination in Europe where we take a bunch of Indians on a trip. Last term we had the pleasure of bringing 50 of you to Krakow for four fantastic days. We strive to give travelers a unique experience, filled with exciting activities and memories to last a lifetime.
In addition to Destination X, we are also responsible for Index's participation in ESTIEM. ESTIEM is an international student organization that offers opportunities for exchange and collaboration with students from all over Europe. Through ESTIEM, you can participate in challenging projects, workshops and events that promote your personal and professional development, while creating friendships and networks across borders.
We also take care of our exchange students. We arrange introductory activities, events and offer support so that everyone has a smooth transition and a rewarding time at Indek.

CASE COMMITTEE
Hello nollan!
My name is Sophie and along with some other students I run the case committee! You probably already know what a business case is. If not, it can be described as a business-related problem which you are supposed to find a solution for.
The case committee works with arranging different types of case competitions, workshops, pubs and other case-related events. This is often together with a company and is very fun! You don’t need any prior knowledge to attend our events.
Besides case-related events, we like to hang out and do different types of activities together. It can be everything from cozy dinners to padel tournaments.
We look forward to seeing you!
Sophie Rudbeck
President of the case committee
FINANCIAL COMMITTEE
My name is Ville and I’m extremely excited to meet you!
I’m a part of I-sektionens Financial commitee, BGI. We are a group of students who do a lot of fun things together. Each year we arrange a trip to Stockholm where we visit different Banks, fund managers, and other exciting companies who work within the financial industry. We have stock competitions, resume workshops, and other fun events related to the finance industry.
The finance commitee exists for those of you who are curious about and want to know more about the industry, while at the same time having a good time with friends!
This fall is going to be amazing!
Hope I’ll see you!

CORPORATE RELATIONS
Hello and welcome, Nollan!
My name is Emil Holgersson and I have the honor of being the chairman of the section's business committee, NGI. We are a group of driven students who are passionate about creating valuable contacts between education and the business world.
Our goal is to show what opportunities await you as an I-guild student, both during your studies and after graduation. We collaborate with companies that want to get in touch with us students and offer them marketing through our channels. All proceeds go directly back to the section's activities.
Throughout the year, we arrange lunch lectures, company mingling and inform about various student events. We find sponsors for meetings and also carry out a much-appreciated trip to Stockholm together with the committees BGI and Innovation. There, students get the chance to visit several exciting companies and make contacts for the future.
NGI is not only a group of students who create opportunities - it is also a close-knit group that has a lot of fun together.
We really look forward to getting to know you.
Welcome to the best section in the world!
Emil Holgersson
President of the Corporate Relations Committee

We also work continuously to develop new exciting events and warmly welcome creative ideas.

THE FESTIVITIES COMMITTEE
Hello there Nolla! Do you pour yourself a drink at the pre-party while your friend just mixes rum and coke? Do you like planning grand parties for your close friends? Do you have an eye for decor? Or do you just want to stand behind the bar and mingle with all the great section members? Then FestI is just right for you!
My name is Lina and I sit as Party Master here at the I-guild. In FestI, we organize sit-ins of all kinds and it is only creativity that puts an end to what we can carry out!
Our goal is to organize sessions that suit all the section's members, and during your time here at I you will therefore be able to take part in everything from sleazier themed sessions to Christmas dinners and balls. In addition to planning and carrying out sessions ourselves, we hold a number of large ones together with the rest of the Sexmästeriet, with which we of course also have a lot of internal events together
I wish you a warm welcome to the I-guild! We at FestI are extremely keen to spend lots of time with you, whether you want to go to our sessions or hang out with us on the right side of the bar! See you in the fall!
Lina Fabiansson

SPEXI
My name is Gustav Hellqvist, and I have the great honor of serving as the section’s Spex Master, meaning I am the chair of the section’s spex committee, SpexI. In SpexI, we “spex,” that is, we try to entertain the section at various parties, sittings, and balls. A spex can really be anything—a song, a sketch, a film, a joke—you name it!
We in SpexI are a cheerful and creative group who love getting together to brainstorm the next spex or simply hang out. An important thing to keep in mind is that anyone can shine in SpexI, and being a true bundle of joy is also a talent!
Together with our sister committees, Källarn and FestI, we form the section’s “sexmästeri,” SexI. In SexI, we are a close-knit group that plans and works at sittings and parties for the section. We also very much enjoy spending time together outside of that.
Looking forward to meeting you and warmly welcome you to Lund!
Best regards,
Gustav Hellqvist
Spex Master
THE CULINARY COMMITTEE
Are you the kind of person who uses way too much butter? The kind of person who meticulously plate and decorate their food? Do you fill the kitchen with suspicious fermentations and sourdough? Then, welcome to the base <3
My name is Alex and I’m the master of the ‘Källarmästeri’ - the guild's most foodloving group. Together we love to eat good, but also cook for others!
Our committee holds Pubs, creates tasting menus and so much more. In combination with our beloved ‘Fest-’ and ‘Spexmästeri’ we create the holy trinity ‘Sexmästeriet’ in the I-guild, SexI. We are the ones who will arrange most of the sittings you will attend during the ‘nollning’ and during most of your time at the I-guild.
I look forward to seeing you this autumn and hope that you’ll enjoy the food!
Big hugs,
Alex Dennerhed
Basemaster 2026

Communication
ALUMNI COMMITTEE
The Alumni Committee is a wonderful group responsible for maintaining contact with the section's alumni - that is, former Engineering students who have graduated. To nurture these relationships, we organize various events both for and together with our alumni. One of the absolute highlights of the year is the joint dinner in Stockholm, which we arrange together with KTH's alumni committee, where alumni from both universities participate. We are also responsible for the Alumni Report; a survey conducted every three years to collect and compile data on how our alumni experienced their time in Lund and at the section.
In addition to alumni relations, we are also responsible for our master's students in years four and five. The two biggest events we organize for them are the master's dinner and the fifth-year graduation banquet. If you think it sounds fun to network with older students and alumni, and above all want to become part of an amazing group, don't hesitate to apply to the Alumni Committee!
We in AlumnI look forward to an unforgettable nollning together with you!
Best regards,
Harald Magnusson
Head of the Alumni Committee
IMAGE
Welcome to the I-Guild!
My name is Ingrid and I am the president of Image, the PR Committee.
Image is a fun committee of committed students who like marketing.
Our vision is to, by using marketing, inspire aspiring students to apply to Industrial Engineering and Management in Lund.
We also arrange a day called I-Dagen, the I-Day, where prospective students get to experience what the I-Guild in Lund is all about. The day consists of information, a talk show with alumni, case solving and other fun activities with various committees. By hosting this day, we aim to increase the interest for Industrial Engineering and Management at LTH.
Together with INFO, we manage the guild’s Instagram and TikTok accounts @isektionen_lth, where we creatively aim to depict the guild. Here you can always keep an eye out for the exciting events and lunch lectures of the week.
We’re looking forward to meeting you!
Hugs from Image!

INFO
Hello nollan!
Welcome to the I-guild, so glad you found your way here! This nollning will be absolutely wonderful and I hope you are beyond excited for one of the funnest periods of your life (no kidding, it really is so incredibly fun and exciting)!
My name is Hugo and I am president of the I guild’s own information committee, INFO, the guild’s most creative committee! You will see us during the nollning a little here and there. We will be running around with camera in hand to take lots of photos and videos during the nollning! (Please come forward and say hi to the camera ;) ) In addition to that, we design posters, menus and lots of other things! You can always find all our pictures on the guild’s Facebook page.
INFO is the committee for you who want to take a break from derivatives and annual reports to deal with creative projects in photography, design and film. Here you get to hang out and develop with a really lovely group of people. No prior knowledge is required here, just good vibes. See you during the nollning!
Many hugs!

MERCHANDISE COMMITTEE
In The Pryl our foremost mission is to design and procure merch that represents the I-guild in the best way possible. We accomplish our mission primarily by designing products, or as we say "Prylar", that we think all I-guilders will appreciate. The products range from t-shirts, hoodies and patches, to beer glasses and ceremonial sashes. The Pryl manages the whole supply chain, from idea to realisation. Problems may of course occur during the process, as misdeliveries and faulty products are relevant aspects of the work that we encounter, which we need to account for. Thus, we in The Pryl are true problem solvers, who always strive to deliver the best and most fashionable "Prylar" to the guild. Moreover, our work extends from just brainstorming to also receiving ideas from the rest of the guild members, and we love to cooperate with other parts of the guild. We are always open to new ideas, with us the only limit is the imagination!
If you would have any questions or fantastic ideas, don't hesitate to contact us at pryl@isek.se!
FILIP ERIK-SAMUEL BOSTRÖM
President of Prylet
Initiative
Another way to get involved in the guild is to join initiatives. Unlike committees, you can combine involvement in several initiatives and be part of a committee at the same time.
NERDI
Hejsan Nollan,
Welcome to Lund! My name is Leo, and I'm the head of NerdI, the I-guild knowledge initiative. We do straight a ripoff of the most popular T.V program in Sweden, På Spåret, game-nights, pub quizzes and a lot more things related to “knowledge” and competition. However, that does not mean knowledge is a prerequisite, quite the opposite! We’re all here to learn, and only expect your enthusiasm in return :)
PLUNTI
Hello there!
As a student in Lund, there are plenty of exciting things you will learn. But perhaps the most important thing to learn - the art of brewing the perfect punch - you learn with us. We are PluntI: the initiative dedicated to exploring the big questions in life.
We strive to find out which celebrity truly makes the best wine. We want to discover what makes "nice-cream" so fantastic and determine the optimal size for a flask. Additionally, we devote ourselves to unraveling the eternal mystery of which holiday drink is truly the tastiest. We organize thrilling tasting events and cocktail mixing evenings to delve deep into these questions. We believe in combining knowledge with enjoyment and we are a group of curious and passionate individuals who share an interest in beverages. We hope that you would like to become a part of us too!
CEREMONI
Do you feel called to celebrate and embellish our ever-youthful student life?
CeremonI stands as the section’s advocate and guardian of the enchanting and wondrous student traditions, the likes of which can only be found in Lund. When we are not honoring the section's long-standing traditions or tending to its medals, we engage in various activities, proudly attired in white tie.
Does this sound sublime? Keep an eye out for CeremonI, and a warm welcome to the section!
Alice Rask Turesson
Ceremonimästarinna

SUSTAINABILIT-I
Hi!
We are the section’s sustainability initiative, Sustainabilit-I. Our purpose is to promote sustainability within the section in fun and simple ways! Among other things, we organize our fantastic SusI-Week, where members of the section this year were invited to a flea market together with all of LTH, as well as a sustainability case!
We believe that the otherwise very serious topic of sustainability is best highlighted in enjoyable and engaging ways. Doing something good for our planet shouldn’t be difficult or demanding, it should be fun!
In addition to spreading green energy within the section, we are also an incredibly friendly group who are looking forward to you applying to join us!
Green hugs,
Sustainabilit-I
RELAXI
Hello there, dear Nollan,
When everyday life is filled with studying, parties, and countless events, we in RelaxI are here to help you unwind.
That’s why we organize all kinds of fun and relaxing activities, such as cold-water swims and sauna sessions in Landskrona, beach hangouts at Lomma Beach, or why not a sauna gathering at the student union building?
We dedicate ourselves to mastering the art of relaxation by optimizing sauna temperatures, budgeting hangover brunches, and calculating the perfect angle for a sun lounger.
Welcome into the warmth of the I-section!
RelaxIng regards,
Isaac Kilefors

IQUALITY
Iquality is the I-guild’s equality initiative. We are a group working together to educate our guild on equality issues and to strengthen the networks of women and non-binary students—both with each other and with the business sector.
We achieve this by organizing events such as Iquality's Stockholm trip, the Women's Gathering (tjejträffen), and many other engaging activities. For the Women’s Gathering, we host a fika, mingling, and games for the guild's new women and non-binary students. This provides an early opportunity to meet peers, mentors (phaddrar), and senior students on the Sunday before the reception weeks (nollningen) begin. The Stockholm trip is an excursion where the guild's women and non-binary students travel with us to visit exciting companies in Stockholm. It offers insight into future career opportunities for Industrial Engineering students while strengthening the community across different academic years.
Throughout the academic terms, we organize lunch lectures, brunches, and fitness events. Although certain events—like the Women's Gathering—are exclusively for our women and non-binary students, Iquality is an initiative where anyone who wants to can join and work towards equality!

THE CASE INTERVIEW FORUM
Do you enjoy problem-solving? Would you like to know more about working as a management consultant or find case-solving interesting? Then you are welcome to Caseintervjuskolan!
My name is Agnes, and I am responsible for Caseintervjuskolan. Our initiative provides everyone at the program with opportunities to practice solving cases. Together with your friends and plenty of fika, we break down various fictional company problems and practice so-called case interviews, a commonpart of the recruitment process to become a consultant. It's an incredibly educational, fun, and useful way to try out being a strategy consultant in a relaxed environment.
We look forward to meeting you this autumn! Welcome to the I-guild, and see you soon!
Hugs from Caseintervjuskolan
PYSSLI
When school is stressful, it’s always nice to do something peaceful and fun to get your mind off all the musts. If you like being creative, whether it's knitting, painting, crocheting or beading, the initiative Pyssli is the right place for you! Our goal is to spread creativity in the guild with, for example, inspiring try-a-new-craft-events.
When the weather is warmer we also want to invite you to a painting day in the park. Or how about sewing on patches on the overall for the introduction period? There are plenty of crafts to try so if you want to find a creative community in the guild, we think you would love Pyssli!
Creative hugs <3
DIVERSITI
Hello and welcome to the I-Guild! We are are the amazing group “DiversitI” – The Guild’s diversity initiative.
Among other things, we arrange visits at local upper secondary schools and inform students from underrepresented backgrounds about our education, to further their interest to apply here in the future. In addition, we believe that everyone, independent of their network or socioeconomic status should have the same opportunities in their prospective careers, which is why we also arrange different events together with companies.
Lastly, we also have a great time together, especially during our dinner events where we cook delicious food from all the world’s cuisines.
We are looking forward to meeting you all this fall!
Diverse greetings
DiversitI

IGI
Hello newcomer,
Welcome to Lund and Indek!
My name is Axel Ildring and I have the honor of being chairman of the Investment Group. Do you enjoy using avanza (robinhood) more than Snapchat? Do you prefer bull over bear? Or do you simply think it would be fun to learn more about stocks and asset management? Then you have found exactly the right place.
Welcome to the I-guild!
FRILUFTI
We’re FriluftI, a young initiative whose goal it is to share our love for the outdoors with the I-guild.
Spring 2022 we held our first event, the spring march; a day of hiking along the coast of Österlen followed by spending the night in the woods. Since then our events have included climbing, sauna, kayaking along the coast of Kullaberg and much more.
Being a young initiative we’re full of exciting ideas and plans for the coming year. You wouldn’t want to miss it!
We love any outdoorsy activity and if you do too then this could be the perfect initiative for you!

MENTORSINITIATIVET
Hello nollan and future adepts!
My name is Frederika and I am the group leader for the Mentor Initiative at the I-guild. We are a happy bunch who primarily care about personal development, for us and all the mentors as well as for the mentees.
Our main aim at the moment is the internal mentoring program which pairs zeros with course participants 1-2 years ahead in their studies.
We also have an external mentoring program that pairs students in years 3-5 with alumni or other inspiring people to help the transition from studies to working life. This is something we have put on hold at the moment due to high workload, but which we would like to start up again in the spring.
In addition to this, you who apply to the Mentor Initiative can expect good company and a series of traditional holiday celebrations. I'm looking forward to meeting you!
Summer greetings,

Hello!
My name is Norah and I work together with Agnes (education manager on the board) and the incredible class representatives (REPI) to ensure the quality of our education. Every semester we meet together with the REPIs to discuss courses and in which ways they can be improved! As a REPI, you get the opportunity to convey both your own and your classmates' opinions to LTH! This is an incredibly important post, so if you are keen on a fun and rewarding commitment where you have the opportunity to influence the content of the education, I can warmly recommend you to apply for REPI!!

CAFÉMÄSTERI
Hello everyone!
We're CaféMästerIet. Together with our beloved sister section, M, we run Kafferiet, our café in the M-building. We're here whenever your coffee cravings get too strong or you accidentally leave your lunchbox at home.
At the register, you'll be greeted by our Caféphørmän, who are responsible for the café's day-to-day operations. We also get lots of help from our amazing volunteers, and we truly appreciate every one of them! If you'd like to come hang out with us for a shift, just sign up! <3
On Kafferiet's Instagram, you can keep up with everything happening at the café – from themed days (like Kebab Roll Day or Cinnamon Bun Day) to seeing what delicious treats our Bakphørmän have baked for the day. You can also sign up there to work a shift at Kafferiet.
CaféMästerIet also organizes brunches, made possible by our wonderful Brunchphørmän. These are hugely popular events with fun and creative themes that you definitely don't want to miss!
All of us in CaféMästerIet wish you an amazing orientation period! We'll see you by Johan (the coffee machine) whenever your cup runs dry. ;)

We're Sandra and Olga, and we've had the honour of being appointed Project Managers for the I-section's anniversary celebrations.

For an entire week, the section will be filled with exciting events and activities for everyone to enjoy. In previous anniversaries, we've had everything from pubs, pub crawls, and case nights to other fun events, all leading up to an unforgettable Anniversary Ball!

THE I-BAND
Welcome to Lund dear nolla!
During your time as a student, you'll attend plenty of formal dinners and events, where BandIt provides the live music and takes the atmosphere to the next level. We're the I-section's very own house band, and our musical style can best be described as "whatever we want to play and whatever you want to hear." Our repertoire includes just about every sing-along classic you could ask for at sittnings and post-event parties! Beyond our performances, we have an amazing time together in our rehearsal room and enjoy lots of other fun activities as well.'
'
Do you love music, or have you always wanted to live out your rockstar dreams? If so, BandIt is definitely the place for you!
Musical hugs from BandIt!

TOASTMASTERS
Congratulations on your admission, and a warm welcome to the I-section!
You have made it past the biggest threshold, admission. Now years filled with studying, submissions, procrastination and, most importantly, unforgettable sittings, loud songs and friends for life await.
Our names are Sonia and Paula, and we have the honorable task of being your songbook leaders, a trust we carry with both dignity and a certain hubris. During the Nollning, we will guide you through the beautiful and slightly strange tradition that the art of sitting entails. We will teach you when to toast, how to sing, what is valid on the table (and below), and why you should never leave your songbook unattended.
The upcoming autumn is loaded with spex, laughter and student-like antics, and we can hardly wait to see you take your first wobbly steps towards becoming full-fledged I-students. It will be legendary. It will be magical. And last but not least, it will be I-conical.
Hugs, Sonia and Paula

HERA
Welcome to the I-guild at LTH!
As a new student in Lund and at LTH it's not always easy to navigate through the jungle of student associations and different activities. Therefore, it's good to know that anyone who defines as female or non-binary at the I-quild and M-guild automatically are members of the network Hera!
With Hera, our vision is promoting female and non-binary students' contact with each other, as well as with potential employers and the working life that awaits after graduating. Every semester we arrange events for our members; such as movie nights, brunches, lunch lectures and visits to different companies. We also go to Gothenburg every other year to visit more companies over the weekend, to get further inspired!
For this year we have a lot of fun planned, and if you identify as above your are more than welcome to show up for our upcoming events!
