PHØSET

As long as humanity has walked the face of the earth, it has marveled at phenomena that cannot be touched or seen with the naked eye. For an illusion is only as strong as the belief placed in it. When the boundary between the real and the imaginary begins to blur, there are only seven beings capable of guiding Nollan through this captivating labyrinth: Phøset.

Seven transdimensional entities. Some say that Phøset hides within the dreams we can no longer remember. Others claim that they have always watched from the shadows.

The whereabouts of Phøset remain a mystery, but one thing is certain: they have not been seen for centuries. Once, they walked side by side with humankind. Since then, they have ceased answering humanity’s paradoxical questions. The only time Phøset has been encountered is in the liminal space between consciousness and unconsciousness, and even there they emerge only as dark silhouettes. Together, humanity and Phøset created the Nollning, yet humanity has every reason to question Phøset’s true intentions. For the moment you believe you have regained control, it is already as far away as ever.

For ages, Phøset has remained hidden beyond the horizon of rationality. But the time for a new Nollning has come, and in a way unlike anything before, the city has

fallen into a deep hypnosis. Dreams awaken Phøset as

they prepare for one final odyssey.

The Nollning is calling.

It is time for Phøset to return.

ØVERPHØS EMINENTISSIMUM

DSCF8860-2.png

No one knows when Øverphøs Eminentissimum first began to speak. Only that his voice seems to have existed before any memory ever attempted to describe it. He has never needed to raise it, for its meaning reaches far deeper than sound itself. Every word is recognized instantly, as though its meaning had always resided within those who hear it, long before it was ever spoken.

In his presence, the unfamiliar becomes self-evident, and the self-evident becomes strange. He never speaks to persuade, for persuasion presupposes resistance—and before him, resistance simply ceases to exist. Instead, he allows his words to descend beyond the boundaries of reason, quietly reshaping the contours of reality until Nollan herself begins to question the truths she once believed immutable.

Eminentissimum never strips Nollan of her will. He merely compels her to doubt whether it was ever truly her own.

Phøs Imperia exists within the fracture between perception and conviction. She wears no mask, for every observer has already fashioned one for her. Her essence never changes; only the gaze through which she is perceived does. To some she appears as a guide, to others a trial, yet every interpretation ultimately reveals more about the observer than about Imperia herself. She does not lead Nollan toward a destination; she transforms the very definition of what a destination has ever been. Under her influence, the destination is no longer a place to be reached, but a realization to be carried.

PHØS HYPNARA

Phøs Hypnara never shows Nollan the right path. She reveals every path at once. When doubt begins to grow, direction is lost, and voices can no longer be distinguished, it is Hypnara who draws the gaze to where it must rest. She never leads through commands, for commands give birth to resistance. Instead, she makes the unfamiliar feel strangely familiar - a quiet certainty that the next step has always been obvious. Only much later does Nollan realize that she has been following Phøs Hypnara all along.

PHØS ZYRTHOS

Phøs Zyrthos never seeks Nollan's trust, much less her obedience. To him, every choice is equal, every path merely another manifestation of the same destiny. He intervenes only when someone attempts to defy the inevitable—not to alter the outcome, but to remind them that it was always predetermined. He leads no processions and seeks no followers. Yet the lost are drawn to his presence, like celestial bodies to stars whose gravity never asked for their company. He remains unmoved in a world that moves around him. To Nollan, he is the paradox without resolution—a presence that never acts, yet changes everything.

PHØS ONTARIA

Phøs Ontaria is the first assumption and the final conviction. She never argues for her reality, for an axiom requires no confirmation. She exists beyond the need for proof, where a thought has already been accepted before reason has the chance to object. Her truths are never discovered; they seem instead to be remembered, as though they had always rested within Nollan's consciousness. Yet one question remains for Nollan: if the axiom was never questioned, was believing it ever truly a choice?
